Erica Pitman is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, parents, and families. She obtained her B.A. in English Literature from Emory University and her Masters in Social Work from New York University.
She has a wide range of postgraduate training, including family systems and clinical work through the Ackerman Family Institute. Erica has done in depth training in the field of Behavioral Psychology, inclusive of Applied Behavioral Analysis. In addition, she has years of clinical experience in treating typically developing and neurodivergent individuals, specifically children with learning differences, Autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders.
Erica has worked with children, adults and families in a range of contexts such as play therapy, school based learning, social skills groups for children with social-emotional challenges in a variety of contexts, and individual family therapy.
She has provided counseling to young adults, couples and families in group and individuals settings.
